Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced product manager to join our B2B product team. The successful candidate will be part of a talented team of product managers with the mission of defining and owning the B2B product roadmap.  We are looking for a natural product leader that will bring value to HBX Group.  Agility, adaptability, determination, resilience, communication and relational skills, analytical skills are the key success factors for this role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Detect needs from stakeholders

  • Investigate and propose improvements

  • Manage initiatives within an Agile team:

    • Detecting the need to raise the initiative

    • Detect and manage the dependencies with teams across the company

    • Manage dependencies and coordinate them so deadlines are accomplished

    • Validate final solution

    • Define and monitor KPI and measurement indicators.

    • Communicating and managing expectations with stakeholders and reporting on timings and functionality

  • Manage incidents that are escalated to you

  • Manage tools that the team needs and coordinate business case acceptance, budget proposal, and invoice payment for the same

Required Skills

  • Role Experience: Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, ideally within the travel, hospitality, or bedbank sector, with a specific focus on product sourcing.
  • Understanding of Hotel Sourcing: Deep knowledge of the hotel industry' s dynamics, specifically in sourcing, contracting, and managing hotel inventory and relationships with hotels and chains.•
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with technology, able to understand and discuss technical concepts, and work closely with engineers on product development.
  • Experience with web technologies, APIs for inventory management, and agile development methodologies is crucial
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and drive improvements in sourcing strategies and processes.
  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and managing stakeholder expectations across different levels of an organization and with external partners.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: A deep understanding of the needs of internal and external sourcing clients, capable of translating those needs into product features that provide real value and enhance sourcing efficiency.
  • Organizational and Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Agile Methodologies: Extensive knowledge of agile methodologies, with experience facilitating sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation: Exceptional skills in gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements specific to hotel sourcing, translating complex needs into actionable user stories and specifications for IT.
  • Educational Background: A bachelor' s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is often preferred
