JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the face of Hotelbeds to our suppliers, you will develop strong relationships with our suppliers for a defined portfolio of hotels within a specific geographic area. The SPA Specialist will be responsible and facilitator for all topics related to Strategic Partner Agreements (SPAs) in the sub region, responsible for growing and maintaining the SPAs portfolio as well as support and build pipelines, being the main point of contact between the HQ and the sub region, such as materials, tools, training. Responsible for monitoring the positive/negative deviation of SPAs and support team with optimization of these agreements.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitorization of Strategic Partnership Agreements performance vs commitment and suggest actions to mitigate the risk and/or maximize it. Highlight discrepancies between conditions loaded and signed agreement that could negatively affect production. Monitor trial performance to ensure continuity of the deal or renegotiation of the conditions.  
  • Analyze and optimize strategic partnership agreements in the region by monitoring availability, competitiveness, distribution, contract loading/set up, mark up, mapping, override loading, minimum content, allotment top up, etc. 
  • Coaching and training individuals in sourcing community with best practices in terms of SPA negotiations, enhancing commercial skills of every individual, and at the same time responsible for the implementation and the correct use of the most updated materials and tools. Responsible for ensuring all SPAs sent to head office for approval are in line with requirements.
  • Support Regional Manager, Area Contracting Manager or ContractingManager in negotiations depending on the value, strategic importance and complexity of the agreements as well as support teams in creation of SPA proposals.
  • Support team in renewal process of SPAs as well as in the creation of pipeline for future SPAs.
  • Lead the contracting process with our clients in a B2B and B2C environment, focused on signing the most competitive rates for Hotelbeds.
  • Negotiate contract renewal conditions such as: rate, inventory, offers, release periods, marketing contributions, overrides, cancellation policy.
  • Monitor the Performance of each hotel working closely with the Yield Manager to ensure competitiveness and availability is not an issue.
  • Act as the face-to-face key point contact for accommodation supplier vendors and develop and maintain excellent relationships with them.
  • Support the resolution of major supplier or client complaints, negotiating the most suitable solution to maintain good service and a positive relationship with them.
  • Ensure the supplier has a clear understating of Hotelbeds value proposition and marketing tools to optimize the income of each hotel.

Candidate Profile:

  • 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience of contracting and negotiation suppliers.
  • Experience and knowledge of understanding of the geographically region or similar way of contracting with suppliers.
  • Experience with Excel, Tableau and Salesforce.
  • Excellent negotiation and commercial skills able to build solid relations both internal and external.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong cultural versatility and empathy
  • Strategic vision and analytical clarity.
  • Passionate about customer satisfaction, with a personal commitment to organizational excellence.
  • Top Analytical skills and detail oriented.
