JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

  • Support the reporting of Group P& L on a statutory and managerial basis, together with provision of variance analysis on a monthly basis in accordance with internal and external deadlines, utilising data analytical skills in order to provide useful relevant information on a timely basis, linking financial information to trading information, as well as identifying and proposing process improvements and supporting the ongoing finance transformation of the Group.

  • Provide relevant, timely and accurate data analysis to enable detailed review and decision making across the finance community. To act as a super user and key point of contact for data analysis

  • Support the Group Reporting manager in engaging with key management stakeholders.

  • Support to business for various reporting matters.

  • Support on the Group financial consolidation process and on the maintenance of the Consolidation System.

  • Work with the business units financial managers to design, develop and set up new reports, which will help to eliminate as much manual intervention in the production of financial information as possible.

  • Assist on external audit reviews, in the evaluation of any financial and IT related assessments.

  • Support in ad hoc projects

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills

  • Strong technical ability to work with various financial systems and applications.

  • Experience of data analysis tools

  • Interpersonal skills with high quality written and verbal communication skills

  • Financial reporting knowledge

  • Self starter and willing/able to take initiative

Experience and qualifications:

  • Experience in a role including data analysis work

  • Finance degree or equivalent

  • Experience with SAP, HFM and accounting software packages
