JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will analyze and resolve business incidents finding the fastest and most efficient way, assessing the criticality to support the prioritization process, facilitating the development’s team delivery. You will be work with our product and development teams to fix when possible, the issues or to send the issue to the development team with as much information provided as possible. Key responsibilities include.

  • Ticket and incident management. Diagnosis / analysis and resolution (non complex technical incidents).

  • Ticket identification / prioritization. Identify business impact / priority analysis.

  • Incidents replication / logs search, etc.

  • Documentation generation related to incidents (knowledge base)

  • Testing and certification of incidents resolved by development team.

  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies providing feedback and suggesting improvement proposals.

You will bring.

  • Knowledge and experience in APIs/Web Portals incidents replication

  • Basic knowledge in technologies as SQL, Java, JSON, XML…

  • Experience in L1 or L2 support level, including incidents analysis

  • Experience with monitoring tools (basic knowledge-user level): Grafana, ELK, Nagios…

The Job

We are looking for Solution Architects to join our team, working within our agile teams focusing on design, impact analysis and outcome of our solutions.

Our Solution Architects interface heavily with our Enterprise Architects protecting outcome and estimates and adhering and contributing to the overall agreed strategy, standards and guidelines.

Our Solution Architects sit in the delivery teams, working from inside and being part of the team, participating in the agile ceremonies, with special focus on the refinement and planning sessions.

Our Solution Architects also create tech interest, generating “noise” about the latest developments from a technical perspective and applicability in their domain.

The role requires a good understanding of several of the main technologies used in the company. Our Solution Architects work with both Development and Platform Engineering teams, therefore requiring a varying set of skills and knowledge.

We use AWS and GCP as our main cloud platforms. We have a container-first strategy prioritizing the usage of Docker & Kubernetes for all our new developments, while also migrating gradually our existing applications into containers.

Most of our in-house developed applications are based on a hybrid distributed microservice architecture pattern, using Java Springboot and handling up to thousands of transactions per second. We use Angular as our frontend technology, Kafka for messaging and data replication, Redis for caching and prefer PostgreSQL-based persistence. We automate the deployment and operation of our platform using Terraform and Ansible.

In terms of monitoring we currently use open-source based solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana and Elastic. Experience with SaaS observability platforms such as Datadog, Dynatrace or similar solutions would also be beneficial.

SalesForce is used as our customer and supplier management system and SAP is a fundamental piece of our finance platform.

  • Ability to work cross-organizationally to align multiple stakeholders and teams, especially with Commercial, Marketing, and Product Management.

  • Bachelor' s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, computer science/engineering or related field. MBA preferred.

Please note that the location of this position is flexible: operating either from our Palma HQ or from one of our main European hubs, or home-based but with required travel of typically one week per month to Global Headquarters in Palma, Mallorca, Spain.
