JOB DESCRIPTION:

Based in Palma de Mallorca , Yield Manager is responsible for optimizing the assigned portfolio by improving the competitiveness and the availability of the product on sale.

Main accountabilities:

  • Renegotiation of contracting conditions with our suppliers, to maximize availability, offers, best available rates & loading with the maximum level of system expertise the commercial conditions.
  • Apply specific actions on the product and give the right priorities always driven by the data provided on the company dashboards.
  • Get new offers and extra availability directly loaded in the system by the supplier.
  • Responsible together with the Contracting Manager to achieve a high-quality collaboration within the tandem by sharing information, strategies and by avoiding duplication of tasks to achieve high level of efficiency.

Profile requirements:

  • Well organized, ability to manage multitask & prioritize, resistance to stress, high level of resilience.
  • Combination of analytical and commercial skills Excellent communication especially over phone or email.
  • Strong computer applications skills (Microsoft Word, excel).
  • Excellent English both written and oral, expertise in local languages covering the suppliers needs.

Experience

We are looking for a Strategic Sales Manager to join our global non-hotel sales team, within the Beyond the Bed (BTB) division of Hotelbeds. The mission of the BTB division is to source and distribute incipient product verticals like Experiences (incl. Activities, Tours, Attraction Tickets), Ground Transportation (Transfers and Car Rental), and Cruises (Ocean and River). We upsell these products to the Hotelbeds client base, which is the world’s largest B2B travel distribution network with over 60,000 hard-to-access global travel industry leaders across the Tour Operator, Travel Agency, Airline, and Online Travel Agency space. As a Strategic Sales Manager, you will be key to the execution of our vision to enable our partners to realize their connected trip strategy, which consists of creating a unique booking platform whereby technology allows for multiple points of sale throughout the customer journey across several product categories.  

As a Strategic Sales Manager, you will have the responsibility to manage the end-2-end relationship with strategic clients in the Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America. For the role, you can be home based in any of the main customer countries, or in our regional head office in Cancun, Mexico. The products that we distribute are undergoing an exciting phase of transformation from offline to online-driven distribution. The Global HR Data Analyst works within the Data Analytics & HR Systems Team with a primary responsibility of supporting the delivery of the Data & Analytics strategy through rigorous and deep analysis framework that facilitates decision making at all levels of the organisation. JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Contract Manager works within the Bedbank division of Hotelbeds Group and develops and establishes the best relationships with hotel suppliers so that we are their preferred wholesaler. The Contract Manager ensures the product is negotiated with the best conditions on rate and inventory, to position itself as a market leader

This role reports to the Area Contracting Manager.

Each contracting manager has a hotel portfolio assigned and handles own portfolio.

Specific Duties:

  • Ensure the new company focus is being fully communicated, coordinated and the partner of choice message is being utilized when trading with Hotels.
  • Running, monitoring and analyzing weekly and monthly reports with a clear focus on increasing profit and room night production.
  • Build a strong foundation and relationships with hotels via effective and frequent communication, face-to-face as well as telematics.
  • Ability to convince hotels of special contracting deals, promotions, and offers to gain a better position in the destination and obtain a higher market share.
  • Will be required to represent the company with a professional image at all times and to promote the company image and growth via meeting with Hoteliers, suppliers, networking and attending travel trade shows.
  • Contracting, negotiating and trading with Hotels in several destinations. Analyze and manage the best Contracting options for the company.
  • Follow up the risk contracts that the company can have in the destination, and take the right decisions to avoid any loss.

  • The Sales Initiatives Manager is a general support to the Head of Commercial Development (direct reporting line).

  • Shares regular follow-ups on current initiatives at Region/Subregion level, to give HCD, RD and RMs a clear view.
  • Controls the portfolio assignment, which is the base for all KPIs at individual/subregional/regional level.
  • Training sales teams across the region in new tools, processes, ways of working, best practices, etc.
  • Deep dive analysis of detected GAPs and implementation of initiatives to mitigate the detected GAPS.
  • Point of contact when there are doubts, or issues with some specific clients, processes, initiatives, etc. for the sales teams in the region.
  • Main point of contact to escalate topics involving other departments.

Accountabilities:

  • Make sure all subregions are correctly aware, aligned and accurately using all techniques/systems/tools at their disposal by sharing the information and fixing the issues they may face.
  • Support in defining the strategy/initiatives in the region and ensure the correct implementation of it.
  • Regular follow-up at region level on current initiatives and analysis of main KPIs by using data and creating the necessary reports.
  • Accurate and up-to-date portfolio assignment by applying controlling assignment requests and applying them in Salesforce.
  • Ensure the proper delivery of the Sales Support Executive responsibilities. Guide and support the Sales Support Executive

Skills:

  • Deep knowledge on Hotelbeds systems (Atlas, CRM, Rates Simulator, Tableau) and organigram (who does what).
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects & tight deadlines.
  • Ability to quickly understand what is required and to elaborate the conditions to get it.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to unexpected new priorities.

Experience:
