Responsibilities:

  • To implement the digital supplier model with the hotels from their portfolios.
  • Maintain and grow the share of house of long tail suppliers in their portfolios.
  • Convert the maximum of long tail suppliers to Core Suppliers in their portfolios.
  • To improve the overall competitiveness through a digital approach in their portfolios.
  • Digital acquisition of new suppliers and digital recover of existing long tail suppliers
  • To reduce the ‘cost to serve’ while at the same time aiming to improve service levels.
  • To understand our contracting tools and to optimize their duties.
  • To improve marketing campaigns conversion.
  • Participating actively in our regular team follow up (mainly Revenue and Campaigns activity performance) to help RMM to understand the situation of their portfolios and new improvements needed.
  • Hotel acquisition: Manage the e-registration of our suppliers from the onboarding
  • Be part of the digitalization process we are implementing: Adapt to the new way of interacting with our suppliers in the digitalization journey & give feedback about the process or improvements we should do.
  • Update suppliers interactions using the Salesforce CRM system (calls, tasks, opportunities)
  • Managing a portfolio of 500-1500 accounts
  • Assist hotels in their interaction with our platform and operational topics (aiming to be self-service)

Qualifications:

  • Education: University degree (Tourism will be desirable)
  • Languages: English and Arabic highly valuable.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience
  • Knowledge: MS Office: advanced level. Atlas: Medium level. Accelerate: Medium level. Salesforce or any other CRM: High level.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Contract Manager works within the Bedbank division of Hotelbeds Group and develops and establishes the best relationships with hotel suppliers so that we are their preferred wholesaler. The Contract Manager ensures the product is negotiated with the best conditions on rate and inventory, to position itself as a market leader. This role reports to the Area Contracting Manager. Each contracting manager has a hotel portfolio assigned and handles own portfolio.

Specific Duties:

  • Ensure the new company focus is being fully communicated, coordinated and the partner of choice message is being utilized when trading with Hotels.

  • Running, monitoring and analyzing weekly and monthly reports with a clear focus on increasing profit and room night production.

  • Build a strong foundation and relationships with hotels via effective and frequent communication, face-to-face as well as telematics.

  • Ability to convince hotels of special contracting deals, promotions, and offers to gain a better position in the destination and obtain a higher market share.

  • Will be required to represent the company with a professional image at all times and to promote the company image and growth via meeting with Hoteliers, suppliers, networking and attending travel trade shows.

  • Contracting, negotiating and trading with Hotels in several destinations. Analyze and manage the best Contracting options for the company.

  • Follow up the risk contracts that the company can have in the destination, and take the right decisions to avoid any loss.

  • Lead the contracting process with our clients in a B2B and B2C environment, focused on signing the most competitive rates for Hotelbeds.

  • Negotiate contract renewal conditions such as: rate, inventory, offers, release periods, marketing contributions, overrides, cancellation policy.

  • Monitor the Performance of each hotel working closely with the Yield Manager to ensure competitiveness and availability is not an issue.

  • To ensure that the suppliers (accommodation and non accommodation) throughout the target assigned are assessed and validated on time and a follow up process is done to ensure product has the less deficiencies as possible.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As Area Yield Manager you will be leading and developing a Yield team to achieve the targets (usually trading based on production) set up for the region.

The Key responsibilities are around competitiveness, in terms of rates and availability. Therefore, the AYM, should define the right strategy together with the RM, ensure the implementation, and constantly adapt them in line with the market behavior.
Accountabilities

• Ensure the team is aware about their own priorities and targets
• Design the strategy, at the team and individual level, to make sure everyone is contributing to reach the regional target
• Monitor the results of each team member towards target and support in case of deviation
• Maintain constant communication with the RM or/and ACM to ensure smooth application of the strategy and adapt in case it is necessary
• Develop and train the Yield Manages on all the necessary tools that can help them to excelling in their work
• Lead a team of Yield Managers, making sure the team understands the business strategy
• Regular team follow up on targets (offers, availability, competitiveness, and sales), analyzing the reports extracted from internal tools (Salesforce, Accelerate, Atlas, Wizard...) to define and prioritize next steps.
• Analyze market trends and evolution making sure the team has all the available information of the destinations such us strategy, expectations, objectives, changes, or relevant information with transparency through group or individual meetings/conference calls to guarantee all the team members are fully aware and informed.
