JOB DESCRIPTION:

Temporary Position to Cover a Maternity Leave (until Feb 2025)

The Hotel Supplier Account Manager will have a thorough understanding of Hotelbeds’ distribution strength and value proposition.  He/She will develop and manage the commercial relationship with assigned supplier accounts within the Regional Chains & Gaming subdivision.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and develop relationships with key decision makers along with C-level contacts

  • Plan, develop and manage strategic plans for and with assigned accounts

  • Negotiate and close opportunities

  • Maintain total customer satisfaction

  • Lead commercial negotiations

  • Negotiate contract renewal conditions such as: rate, inventory, offers, release periods, marketing contributions, overrides, cancellation policy, etc. 

  • Monitor the performance of assigned accounts

  • Collaborate with Yield Managers to ensure account optimization, competitiveness, availability, connectivity, etc.

  • Support the resolution of major supplier or client complaints, negotiating the most suitable solution

  • Ensure the supplier has a clear understating of HBX Group value proposition and marketing opportunities

Requirements: 

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, prior experience in successfully contracting, and negotiating agreements and conditions with hotel suppliers. 

  • Passionate about customer satisfaction, driven to create successful long-term commercial relationships

  • Ability to work independently, work to targets and to deliver success within a fast-paced environment

  • Proven ability to build strong internal and external relationships with individuals and hotel partners using an open and consultative approach 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills including highly developed communication and presentation skills, strong cultural versatility, empathy, and high levels of integrity
